It was finally that time again; we had the honour of welcoming pharmalogistics experts from across Europe to our customer event.
On their day of arrival, our customers had the opportunity to visit the trans‑o‑flex branch in Alzenau and the GEODIS branch in Rodgau. We ended the evening in a relaxed atmosphere with a joint dinner at AlCortile in Mainz.
On the day of the event, the old locomotive hall in Mainz opened its doors. Our Head of Strategy, Marketing & Commercial, Lutz Blankenfeldt, guided us through the varied programme of the day. The event was opened by our CEO Martin Reder with an update on trans‑o‑flex, followed by a presentation by Thomas Kraus (President and CEO Europe GEODIS) on the global supply chain – extending from manufacturer to end customer. Before the first break, Thomas Lange presented the prototype of a Sprinter with electric cooling, which was then inspected live.
In the subsequent specialist dialogue, experts (Jens Reibold, Eugen Günther, Steffen Thömmes, Jutta Roller, Marlo Keno Geldon, Dennis Domke, Tamara Schulz, Andre Schwilden, Ulf Seidel and Stefan Winckelmann) exchanged views on current supply chain topics. Moreover, customers such as Dental Union (Stefan Bleidner), AEP (Dr Brockmann) and Worldline (Mr Backof) presented their bespoke logistics solutions. The day was rounded off by an inspiring lecture from trend researcher and keynote speaker Matthias Horx on the prospects for the future.
In addition to the presentations, our customers enjoyed two dedicated breakout sessions and had the opportunity to delve more intensively into specific topics at focus tables throughout the day.
Another highlight was the unique atmosphere of the historic venue, with information stands from GEODIS, EURODIS and SCL. Our technical expert David Heuer ensured that everything ran smoothly – as always.
We are particularly proud that we planted a tree for every attending customer once again.
We wish to thank everyone who made this day an unforgettable experience!
