With our actively temperature-controlled network, we facilitate the temperature-controlled distribution of pharmaceuticals in the range 2 °C to 8 °C and/or 15 °C to 25 °C not only in Austria, but also in Germany via our Eurotemp network with partners in four other European countries: Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Shipments are transported and documented in accordance with EU regulations for the transport of pharmaceuticals. These EU GDPs require the highest standards of safety and security, cleanliness, reliability and transparency.

Unlike parcel services and groupage carriers, trans-o-flex delivers consolidated parcels and pallets. trans-o-flex offers express delivery before 12 noon, special services such as deliveries to home patients, shipment consolidation or CO2 offsetting for the transport of your shipments with its co2de green service.

The constant temperature maintained during active shipping is independent of the outside temperature and, unlike passive shipping, is also independent of additional aids. This means that transport with active temperature control is cost effective, sustainable and environmentally friendly as no special packaging is required.

trans-o-flex guarantees a temperature of 2 °C to 8 °C or 15 °C to 25 °C throughout the entire transport chain, including intermediate storage and handling. The temperature profile is continuously recorded electronically and documented and stored in a tamper-proof manner. 100% GDP compliant.

National shipping

With a range of services and a standard delivery time of less than 24 hours, trans-o-flex is your ideal partner for the transport of temperature and time-critical pharmaceutical products. We offer you a range of services for your shipments within Austria. Simply choose whether you want your shipment delivered before 12:00 noon or on a Saturday. We can also arrange for your shipment to be collected from a third party or delivered directly to the patient’s home.

Europe-wide shipping

Even when you are abroad, you don’t have to go without our services. Through our EUROTEMP network, we can offer you a wide range of services in four other European countries. And that includes all the formalities – pragmatic, convenient and reliable. Whether you are shipping to Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg or Germany, our sales representatives will be happy to assist you with the transport and logistics of your temperature-sensitive goods

  • Special Order Options
  • We can notify your customers in Germany about the pending delivery of your shipment. Your benefit: greater transparency and higher customer satisfaction. Choose if we notify by text message or by e-mail.
  • All regular (temperature-controlled) shipments with a high and well planned volume of goods are handled on schedule by trans-o-flex charter. These can also be actively temperature-controlled, nationally and throughout Europe.
  • This service is your solution when you need to be especially fast – also for high volumes. The delivery is carried out on schedule without detours, directly from the collection address to the recipient - also temperature-controlled.
  • CO2-neutral shipping for all shipments with trans-o-flex. Perfect for environmentally conscious customers - a decision for the environment and nature.
  • We use our returns service to return deliveries directly from your B2B customers back to you.
  • Pick-up Options
  • We collect your consignments from third parties and deliver them within 48 hours to the desired recipient – throughout Germany from Monday to Friday and on request also on Saturdays.

  • Your care products will be delivered Monday to Friday directly to the home patient or to patients in care facilities. If desired, with prior notification.
  • Delivery times
  • The right option for urgent shipments before 12 noon on the next working day. We deliver nationwide from Monday to Friday. Saturday service can also be booked as an option.
  • We deliver your products on Saturdays, also with express option.

Oversize & Overweight: Almost no consignment is too large or too weighty for us. With the additional option ‘oversize’ or ‘overweight’, bulky deliveries also reach their destination safely and reliably. Information on deviating sizes and weights can be found in our appendix for weights and measures (currently available in german only).

About us

trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria GmbH was founded in 1986 as Scherübl Transport GmbH for the actively temperature-controlled transport of pharmaceuticals in Austria. trans-o-flex initially acquired 74.9% of the shares in June 2008, changed the name to trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria in 2012 and finally acquired the remaining shares from Franz Scherübl in early 2013. The company employs around 100 people at four sites. As part of the trans-o-flex Group, trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria offers specialised solutions that enable a continuous cold chain for the temperature ranges 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and 15 to 25 degrees Celsius with seamless temperature recording from the producer to the end consumer.
