New year, new service! January sees the launch of trans-o-flex’s new express service tof.cover. This is an express delivery service for documents and small items, for which trans-o-flex provides its customers with their own mailing bags. “It’s all about making express delivery even easier,” says Wolfgang P. Albeck, CEO of trans-o-flex. “Simply enter the consignment data, stick the address label on the mailing bag, pack the folders, documents, products or samples to be sent and hand the consignment along with others to the trans-o-flex driver or arrange a collection with trans-o-flex.now.” tof.cover is automatically delivered the next business day before 12 noon. “And if you want, you can also book any other express service with tof.cover – from 8 am delivery to evening service.”
trans-o-flex deliberately uses plastic bags instead of cardboard packaging for its mailing bags. “The mailing bags are produced in a climate-neutral way, are fully recyclable and much more practical in terms of storage and handling,” explains Albeck. “On the one hand, they are so flexible that they can be used to send small items in a wide variety of shapes. Secondly, they can be folded up and thus stored almost anywhere.” trans-o-flex has the mailing bags produced in two sizes. The smaller version S (Small = 35 x 26 cm) also fits A4-sized documents or catalogues. The larger version L (Large = 44 x 36 cm) also fits a full A4 folder. Both variants weigh only a few grams and can weigh up to five kilos when shipped. For customers with particularly high security requirements, trans-o-flex supplies additional security labels at cost price. They look like small plasters, can be easily stuck over the edges and leave clear marks if tampered with.
