We pursue an integrated approach of #sustainability and #environmentalprotection. To achieve this, trans-o-flex is working in all areas of the company to constantly improve. The consistent use of electricity from renewable sources such as the sun, hydropower, wind and biomass is important confirmation of making a contribution to more environmental and climate protection. Today, 97.74% of the electricity used by trans-o-flex comes from renewable sources. In addition, the conversion to LED lighting significantly reduced electricity consumption at the sites in Weinheim, Alzenau, Duisburg, Bremen and Stuttgart. A photovoltaic system has also been installed on the roof of the more than 8,000 square metre transshipment depot in Hamm-Rhynern. The electricity generated is used for the operation of the sorting centre and the pre-temperature regulation of vehicles.
