Less administrative work, less paper, more environmental protection: Starting in May, trans-o-flex will begin converting customer invoices to longer periods.
Until now, trans-o-flex has issued around 120,000 invoices per year. About half of these are invoices issued on a weekly basis. “In the future, invoices to customers will be sent out on a maximum semi-monthly basis,” says Michael Schmidt, managing director of finance at trans-o-flex. “And for those customers who already receive semimonthly invoices today, we will check whether we can switch to monthly.” From Schmidt’s point of view, this simplification brings advantages for all sides. “The effort involved in both preparation and auditing is noticeably reduced.”
The sustainability effect through less paper consumption can be increased even further by those who switch to the electronic invoice variant now. trans-o-flex provides a form that can be downloaded from its website for the legally required consent to send invoices digitally.
