Sustainable: Anyone who switches to trans-o-flex as a shipper or signs up for an additional promotional deal will have a tree planted for them in future. This is made possible by a new cooperation with the globally active organisation “Click a tree”. The company, based in Freiburg, Germany, says it runs wholly sustainable reforestation projects, supporting 16 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the the United Nations. This kind of sustainability commitment is not only about improving the climate through trees, but at the same time, for example, permanent jobs are created in the projects and the planting of regional tree varieties promotes biodiversity. And even more trees are to be planted in the future. trans-o-flex CEO Wolfgang P. Albeck: “In future, we will also give customers the choice in the customer survey whether trans-o-flex prefers to donate to a charitable organisation or plant trees for each completed questionnaire.”
