trans-o-flex extends contract with CEO early by two years

  • Supervisory Board: Wolfgang P. Albeck to continue the success story of trans-o-flex Expressdienst until 2026

Weinheim (Germany), 28 November 2020. The Supervisory Board of trans-o-flex Expressdienst, which specialises in the healthcare, cosmetics and other sensitive goods sectors, has extended the contract with its CEO Wolfgang P. Albeck early for another two years until 31 March 2026. Albeck had taken over as CEO in April 2017. “The company has been enjoying success since Albeck joined the management,” says Christoph Schoeller, representing the trans-o-flex shareholder group of the Amberger and Schoeller families. “It is making a profit, has significantly increased and consolidated its quality, raised its profile as an express service as well as a provider of industry-specific logistics solutions, and increased revenues from €490 million in 2016 to around €600 million currently.” With the early extension, the Supervisory Board wants to underline how satisfied it is with the work of the Executive Board under Albeck’s chairmanship and at the same time send a signal of continuity to customers and employees.

Before joining trans-o-flex, Albeck had worked at Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) since 1997, where he held numerous managerial positions in the parcel and express organisation. Before that, the qualified logistics manager had worked for TNT Express in managerial positions for around ten years. Albeck started his career working for medium-sized forwarding agencies. In addition to Albeck, Michael Schmidt and Eugen Günther continue to be part of the Executive Board of trans-o-flex. Schmidt is responsible for finances, Günther for sales.
