Already in 2020, less was consumed than in the previous year. In 2021, the electricity bill was even lower. &#8220;One of the most important reasons for this is the conversion to LED lighting,&#8221; says trans-o-flex CEO Wolfgang P. Albeck. &#8220;That is why we will continue to invest in new LED technology this year.&#8221; He therefore anticipates that further savings will be achieved in 2022. The decision in principle to switch to LED lighting has already been made and will be implemented in two ways.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, <strong>all new sites will be equipped with economical LED lights right from the start<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly, all other sites will also be gradually converted. Up to and including 2020, the first eight sites had been converted to LED lighting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the warehouse at Hertzstra\u00dfe 8 in Weinheim,<\/li>\n<li>the ThermoMed hub in Baunatal<\/li>\n<li>as well as network sites in Weinheim, Duisburg, Bremen (Gro\u00df Ippener), Alzenau, Herford and Hamm-Rhynern.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Last year, in addition to the headquarters in Weinheim, the following network sites were added:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Neum\u00fcnster, Cologne, Kassel, Koblenz, Bruchsal, Braunschweig, Dettingen, W\u00fcrzburg and Driedorf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the current year, more than ten sites are to receive LED lighting. This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the new building in Wildenfels,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>which will start operations on schedule in the second quarter.<\/p>\n<p>And the conversion at the network sites has also been firmly negotiated with the property owners:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Erfurt, Appenweier and Magdeburg.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Furthermore, the conversion is planned for the following sites as well:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Augsburg, Donaueschingen, Dresden, Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig, Stuttgart, Munich, Nuremberg, Rostock, St. Ingbert and Straubing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;12665&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]The whole world is talking about saving electricity \u2013 trans-o-flex is doing it!
