In the process, trans-o-flex is opening a highly efficient sorting center in Wildenfels that also sets ecological standards. HIGH ECOLOGICAL STANDARDS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The temperature control of the plant is achieved by an ecologically and economically favorable combination of free cooling via supply air grilles and exhaust air fans as well as an air conditioning system. At the same time, a high level of thermal insulation reduces operating costs and climate pollution.\u00a0Heating is provided by gas-fired dark radiators. LED lights ensure sustainable workplace safety. A special piping system collects, filters and releases rainwater in a controlled manner to relieve the strain on the local sewer system. Charging points for employees’ electric vehicles and connections for electric charging of delivery vehicles are provided.<\/p>\n

On the 30,000-square-meter site, the special Y-shape of the building ensures low space requirements with high handling performance. The 5,000-square-meter transshipment hall, with a total of 99 gates, enables fast loading and unloading. The new branch is both a transshipment center for trans-o-flex ThermoMed (2 to 8 degrees Celsius) and for trans-o-flex Express with its untempered and actively tempered shipments in the ambient range (15 to 25 degrees Celsius).<\/p>\n
