trans-o-flex’s support of the Stiftung Kinderzukunft (Children’s Future Foundation) is particularly important this year. The consequences of the pandemic are not felt equally strongly by everyone. Children from poor backgrounds are particularly affected. In addition to the restrictions that affect everyone, poor parents in particular were not able to pursue their activities as usual or became unemployed during the crisis and shutdown periods. As a result, money has often become even tighter in poor families and Christmas presents are out of the question.

On 26 October, trans-o-flex started this year’s “Christmas parcels for children in need” campaign organised by the Stiftung Kinderzukunft foundation. Once again, all trans-o-flex employees were called upon to participate in order to bring joy to those children at Christmas by packing Christmas parcels for them.

Since 1995, the Stiftung Kinderzukunft has been inviting people to pack Christmas parcels for children in need. Since then, more than 32,000 presents have been collected year after year throughout Germany. They are taken in trucks to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and the Ukraine, where they are distributed to girls and boys in kindergartens, orphanages, schools, clinics, but also in slums of towns and villages.
